Umhlanga offers some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The sandy beaches have been protected by shark nets since 1962 ensuring that you can swim and surf in safety or simply sunbathe on the glorious Umhlanga Rocks beaches.

Sibaya Casino and the Entertainment Kingdom offer much more than casino gaming. Here you can experience fine dining, family entertainment, luxury accommodation, take in a show at the iZulu Theatre or simply relax at the spa.

The warm waters of the Umhlanga coast are known to be the playground of the bottle-nose dolphin. While out viewing the dolphins it is not uncommon to also spot whales, whale sharks and other dolphins from the boat.

For the diving enthusiast, there are many exciting dive sites around the Umhlanga and North Coast region. Accessible by boat or from the beach these sites include an artificial reef attracting a variety of fish and the sunken trawler, Fonato.
